Some may question your right to destroy ten billion people. Those who understand realize that you have no right to let them live!

****Under Construction as of 24 Jan'13. Come back soon!!****

This site is dedicated to the skirmish side of 40k. The closest thing I've seen to a decent 40k based skirmish game would fall some where between Space Hulk, Necromunda, Kill Team and Mordheim. That's where this beautiful fan made game called 'Inquisidmunda' (aka =I=munda), believed to have been designed by Jeremy Olson and Misgula. It puts you in charge of a warband traversing the 40k galaxy on a mission, most likely to the contrary of all other players that participate. Be it a Chaos Coven, an Inquisitor's Retinue, Crime Syndicate or Xenos Kill Team; the options are open for just about any theme imaginable. Moreover, your warband will consist of a small squad of specialists (5-20) with various abilities and combat skills which are pitted against your opponent's. Each model represents an individual so you'll have to give him/her/it a name and track their equipment, experience and special abilities as the campaign unfolds.

If you're not 100% on all the fluff behind the 40k universe, or why you would want to run a warband in the first place, then there are a few areas you can check out to help your understanding:

Check out any of the Black Library publications on the 40k universe. They are available on IBooks and Barnes and Noble. Recommendations include:
Soul Drinkers, Horus Heresy, Eisenhorne, Ravenor, Hellsreach, Mechanicus... most of which are series-books so try to start with the first when you can.

Check out the 40k Rule book... currently on the 6th edition. The fluff in there is really enough to help you have all the understanding you need. However, it's an expensive book so if you don't play 40k already then save your cash for miniatures and terrain.

Check out the 'Game Reference' section - everything we'll need for game mechanics will be posted there. It actually helps to print all of this stuff out and either hole punch it or get fancy and buy a new binder with a hundred or so loose sleeves. I'll keep a detailed listing of house rules and battle reports on the blog and between all players we can build the narrative which will add that "something special" which will make the game extra enjoyable.

If you have questions, throw them onto the comment section of this post. It can be the FAQ for the concept behind the game.
